This assessment covers all possible areas of difficulty including attention, learning, social, emotional/behavioral concerns. An Autism Evaluation is a structured assessment process used to determine whether an individual meets criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), identify strengths and challenges, and guide recommendations for supports, therapies, educational planning, and accommodations. Assessments may include: developmental and medical history, standardized diagnostic interviews and questionnaires, direct behavioral observation and structured assessment, cognitive and academic testing (when indicated), speech, language, and social-pragmatic assessment, and/or sensory and motor screening.

Ideally for students ages 6 and under, developmental testing allows us to identify pre-academic, functional and developmental needs across the areas of cognition, communication, social/emotional, motor, and adaptive skills.
